Daily lock · 6:00 AM

Built with and for the local church

“Our people don't need another app to scroll. They need a reason to put the phone down and pray. That's exactly what this does.”

How it works

A habit that holds you accountable

No willpower required. WePray uses your iPhone's Screen Time to make prayer the thing that comes first.

01

Set your prayer time

Choose a daily time and how long you want to pray. WePray schedules a lock around it.

02

Your apps lock

When the time comes, your distracting apps shield over. The only way forward is to pray.

03

Be still and pray

A calm, distraction-free screen with Scripture. Finish your session and your phone unlocks.

Features

Everything you need to pray daily

Simple, reverent, and built to get out of the way so you can focus on God.

App blocking that sticks

Powered by Apple Screen Time. A gentle two-step 'relent' flow keeps you honest when you're tempted to quit early.

Scheduled daily lock

Pick your time once. WePray shows up every day, so prayer becomes a rhythm instead of a reminder you ignore.

A daily verse to anchor you

Each session opens with Scripture — a still point to focus your heart before you begin.

Your church, in your pocket

Read messages from your pastor and stay connected to your congregation between Sundays.

Share prayer requests

Send requests to your church — by name or anonymously — and lift each other up in prayer.

Private by design

Your prayer life is yours. Pastors see encouraging aggregate trends — never the contents of your prayers.

For churches

Bring WePray to your congregation

WePray gives your church a simple, modern way to build a praying people — and gives you a window into how your congregation is growing spiritually.

A prayer dashboard for pastors

See how many of your people prayed this week and the total time spent in prayer — encouraging trends, never private contents.

Speak to your whole church

Send messages and encouragement that land right where your people already are — on their phones, first thing in the morning.

Shepherd through prayer requests

Receive requests from members in one place, mark them as prayed over, and close the loop on care.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you might be wondering before you join.

How does WePray lock my apps?

WePray uses Apple's built-in Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. With your permission, it shields your chosen apps during your prayer time. Nothing leaves your device — it all runs through Apple's own system.

Can I get out of the lock if I really need my phone?

Yes. WePray isn't a prison — it's an accountability partner. There's a gentle two-step 'relent' flow if you need to stop, designed to give you a moment of pause rather than block you entirely.

Do I have to belong to a church to use it?

During the beta we're rolling out church by church, starting with Victory Life Church. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment WePray is available for you or your church.

Can my pastor see what I pray about?

Never. Pastors only see encouraging aggregate trends — like how many people prayed this week. The contents of your prayers and sessions are always private to you.

Is it free?

WePray is free to join during the beta. We'll share details on pricing for individuals and churches before any of that changes — waitlist members hear first.

When is it coming to Android?

We're starting on iOS because of how deeply it integrates with Screen Time. Android is on our radar — join the waitlist to help us prioritize it.

Start praying first thing tomorrow.

Join the waitlist for early access. Be among the first to make prayer the first thing you do with your phone each day.
